Sorry, never replied to this… yeah, the loader was not designed to handle creating empty groups from attributes… it was built to be able to sync groups that have members.

Grouper loader LDAP search base DN : ou=fonctionnelles
Grouper loader LDAP group attribute name : rne
Grouper loader LDAP quartz cron : 0 0 23 ? * SUN

Hello,

I'm actually working on grouper 2.1.4 and try to create empty groups by using LDAP_GROUPS_FROM_ATTRIBUTES.
To do so, i didn't use the attribute : Grouper loader LDAP subject _expression_. Regarding the documentation, it's not a require attribute for this Grouper loader LDAP type.
But when i run the loader, for each group, i have the following errors :

2013-07-24 13:52:23,402: [main] ERROR GrouperLoaderType.syncOneGroupMembership(2308) -  - Problem with group: etab-pub:1d:etab:0593636G
java.lang.RuntimeException: Loader job needs to have SUBJECT_ID, SUBJECT_IDENTIFIER, or SUBJECT_ID_OR_IDENTIFIER! etab-pub:1d:etab:0593636G, ArrayList size: 3: [0]: GROUP_NAME
[1]: SUBJECT_ID
[2]: SUBJECT_SOURCE_ID

Can you help me ?
