This is the trick… you have the jdk, but the jre preceeds it in the path (if the jdk is in the path at all)…

 

Can you run like this (or whatever the jdk path is)

 

C:\projects\grouper.installer-2.0.3>"c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_29\bin\java.exe" -jar grouperInstaller.jar

Thought I’d try the new Grouper Installer – It can’t find the java compiler (see below)  even though I do have the SDK installed.

 

using Windows 7  with jdk1.6.0_29.
