If I use "extension" I get the following error:

'extension' is not facet-valid with respect to enumeration '[id,
       name]'.

In ldapp.example.xml it says that the only values allowed are "id" or
"name", as the error message suggests.

Or did I misunderstand something?

Loris

I believe that the restriction of 'id' and 'name' was done to ensure uniqueness. As this behavior is not compatible with my local institution's group naming convention, it's on my list of things to revisit.
