I have in the past:  a disk maintenance program for Solaris.

I have now tried as many different variations on setting the DISPLAY  
variable as I can think of, with no success; and using ssh and/or the  
Mac OS X X11 utility. I'm beginning to suspect that perhaps my  
workstation ssh configuration needs tweaking.
