Q3.6. Is your product or service compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA?  The new UI satisfies a lot of the standard

 

Q3.7. Do you have a completed WCAG 2.0 Checklist?  No

 

Q4.1. Is your product keyboard accessible (e.g., Can users preform all functions without a mouse?)  The new UI should be able to be used by keyboard only

 

Q4.2. Is your product screen reader accessible?  The new UI should be able to be used by a screen reader, though it has never been tested to my knowledge, so it need some work

 

Q4.3. Are all pages consistently structured with headings? You mean H1 tags?  Yes

 

Q4.4. Are all pages consistently readable without requiring an associated style sheet?  I tried this and got things to work.  Probably is not 100%

 

Q4.7. Do all images consistently have appropriate text descriptions (i.e., ALT Text)?  Yes, they should

 

Q4.8. Are minimum color contrast ratios met consistently across the entire site?  Should be

 

Q4.9. If there are any electronic forms, does each input field consistently have appropriate labels?  Should have for new UI

 

Q4.10. Is there a visible indication of keyboard focus consistently across the site?  Yes

 

Q5.1. Has the service or software interface been tested using assistive technologies?  Not to my knowledge

 

Q6.1. Do you have any existing documentation beyond the VPAT that should be considered (e.g., End User Documentation)?  https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/groupertrain/Grouper+Training

 

Q7.1. Do you have an Accessibility Roadmap?  No

 

 

All the DHTML controls are dojo which should have good accessibility.  The new UI was designed with accessibility in mind with a responsive design, bootstrap, divs, etc.

Hi.

 

Sometime ago (last year I think) we mentioned to the grouper developer team the new accessibility standards and requirements being implemented to the University of Colorado Boulder.  We are finally at a point here at the university to undergo the required accessibility audit of the Grouper product.  We would be very grateful if someone from the developer team could fill out the attached survey and return it to us.  After the assessment has been completed, we can forward the report, which hopefully could benefit the UI design efforts going forward for the product.  I’m not sure if any other university went through a similar audit, but I think this will be beneficial for any major institution in this country.
