As part of the Grouper-Kuali Rice integration I made a simple provisioner (Rice post processor) which will add the workflow initiator subject (person submitting the form) to a group once the workflow is complete (FINAL in Kuali terms).  So you could make a workflow for example for access management, get the proper approvals, then the user will be added to the Group, and if the system which needs the data reads from Grouper (WS or LDAP), the access will be there.

We can elaborate on this as needs arise… e.g. have enabled/disabled dates on the added membership, checkboxes for which groups are being requested, etc.
