Curses. I had seen the earlier cancellation but didn't notice the
cancellation of the cancellation until just now.

As a quick recap of where things stand:
* The API remains frozen
* I got caught up in some firefighting at work after getting back from
vacation so I don't have as much of the testing and documentation
done as I'd like. I've given myself an arbitrary deadline of next
Friday (20050902) to finish the remaining documentation and testing
tasks. At that point, assuming there aren't any more bugs to
fix, I think I'll be ready to package up the API for release
whenever Gary is ready to release the UI.
