Hi Benedikt and Jamie,
Yes, I gave talks at both Next'18 in San Francisco and London. It was a great
experience overall, very much recommend it. They do provide a couple of hours
with a 'speech trainer' which were very helpful, and they also help to
prepare your slides. The talks were relatively short, ~12-15 mins. Here's a
link to the slides from London:

. And here's a post with some links to the videos and pictures of the event:

Please let me know if you have any questions about it.

Hi Benedikt, (+CC to group)
I believe Daniel from Purdue might be interested, but not sure if he's
actually putting in a proposal.
Bill/Salva's project from SUNY has previously presented at NEXT 2018, so
he can probably tell us a bit about what it is like. I believe for example
that they provide you with a content review and tutorial to make your
presentations better. I think they would love to hear from any of the E-CAS
projects that are using GCP.
Jamie.

Hi Jamie,
I was invited to submit a session to Google Cloud Next. Do you know
if anybody else from E-CAS might be interested in giving a talk at that
session.
