If your DYNES site is like mine, idc-uiuc.dynes.illinois.edu is a CentOS
system that runs a virtual machine named idc.dynes.illinois.edu. The latter
is also CentOS, and it runs OSCARS. It has “root” and “admin” accounts.
When it was installed, the instructions said to change the passwords on those
two accounts, so there’s no telling what the passwords are now. If the
previous sysadmin didn’t change the passwords, you’ll find them in the DYNES
installation instructions, a file named dynes-deployment.txt. If you don’t
have those instructions, give me a call at 303-497-1810 and I’ll find them.
