Ok, well there is still potential for DKIM to be used to auto-populate a whitelist, so that subsequent message attempts from an IP, or IP/env-from combination, are not subjected to greylisting.
That's why we could use white/black list of domains or email address that could be applied to message with a DKIM signature.
That's exactly the purpose of "DKIM reputation project" : http://www.dkim-reputation.org/start/
