7/11 or 7/7 are both fine for me. Am I correct in understanding that the person canvas now allows us to deprecate the person "view" page? (I assume that's the point, but I'm wary of assumptions.) The view and canvas look nearly identical, except that the canvas allows for editing what can be edited. If so, it clarifies where the breadcrumbs go within the context of a person. For example, Home > My Population > Al Einstein would be on the canvas page, while Home > My Population > Al Einstein > Add Name might exist on the "Add a New Name" page. The third crumb here will link to Einstein's canvas. The nice aspect to this is that from any point of editing or viewing a person's properties, we can easily return to the canvas, and we can always see who we're working on and the context. The trick in this is that most of the underlying forms (name, email, etc) are shared between the person canvas and organizational identities. If we visit the "Add a New Name" page from the canvas, we should return to the canvas when clicking the person name in the breadcrumb trail. If we visit it from the organizational identity, we need to return to the org id page when clicking the person name in the breadcrumb trail. Maintaining this context is key. In the org id "Add a New Name" page, the breadcrumb would be: Home > Organizational Identities > Al Einstein > Add Name The third crumb here will link to the edit org identity page for Einstein. Does this sound correct? A On 6/25/14, 2:48 PM, Benn Oshrin wrote:
OK. No call this Friday or presumably 7/4, so I guess 7/11 is our next call, unless we want to try for 7/7? I'm free most of that day. |
