It seems to work pretty well, comes with colors built in for different types of notifications, and is of course modifiable with CSS.

I don't like how toastr is translucent over the text on the main page -
makes the pop up text harder to read.  Didn't see the translucency of
the background as an option?

I liked the implementation of jgrowl a little better.
