FYI. Tom B suggests contacting them (Josh Holtzman). Matterhorn, fwiw, has been our ACAMP poster child as a project needing domesticated IAM support in the platform. They're using Spring Security, I believe, which should be a good thing.

Subject: [refeds] OpenCast, Matterhorn and domestication
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone else has looked into OpenCast/Matterhorn and
discussed domestication for lecture capture.
The Matterhorn security thinking is documented at
http://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MH/Security+Architecture
and there is goodwill for domestication in the opencast community.
Moving from goodwill to implementation is a step to be considered for
next year, and I am looking for fellow travelers from the federation
community on this road.
Ingrid
