In 2024 Google announced they were giving 1000 licenses for their Cloud Skills Boost training platform to public sector customers. (https://services.google.com/fh/files/misc/no_cost_gcsbo_pub_sec_v2.pdf). Since that announcement, they’ve made it easier to get the licenses and made even more content available. As with any program this size, there are some details.
Christian Michael, Senior Program Manager, Google for Government, is going to join the NET+ GCP community to walk us through not only the requirements and practices required for a public sector enterprise, like a college or university, to accept and manage these licenses, but also the many ways this content can be used by students, faculty and staff.
Please join Christian to learn about this valuable resource and where best to use it in your institutional cloud strategy. Have you used Cloud Skills Boost personally?
