First, a quick reminder that later today we have the quarterly Tech Jam. A Google customer engineer will be helping UMD’s Sheila Zellner Jenkins work through some challenges building a tool using Document AI to extract the contents of documents and put them in BigQuery. And these aren’t just any documents, they are photocopies of letters and memoranda from the US occupation of Japan after WWII. Here are some samples. This will be way cool if they can get it to work!
