Time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? Odd to think that those vivid memories of the basement conference room at O'Hare are almost twenty years old.

I'd love to be in Chicago in May, and it's quite possible I'll do that. But I hope you can bear with some uncertainty for a while--we've been planning a trip to Portugal, which is just beginning to take concrete form, and it's quite possible that trip will conflict with the celebration. Can I hold off giving you an answer for a few weeks, please?

Hope you did okay in the blizzard. We're cleared out in front, but our back alley--where we usually park--has at least two feet of snow trapped between walls. Fortunately we moved our car out front; now I've just got to go dig through the wall last night's plows re-erected.

(Also, can you please have someone update your address records to use this than the gjackson.us one?)
