NetNet Community Design Workshop and Backbone Network Overview

There will be a workshop [1] next week in Indianapolis targeted at
"current and prospective connectors to the Internet2 national network
infrastructure (a.k.a. current Abilene connectors, prospective NewNet
connectors); technical and executive staff".

VoIP will be on the table as a potential service offering, though
given everything that needs to be discussed (IP and optical services,
topology, etc.), VoIP is likely to be something of a footnote to the
discussions. 

If you are interested and qualified to attend, please be encouraged to
do so.  If you are interested in reviewing the current draft technical
design, please have a look at [2].
