We're doing SIP.edu now using our LDAP directory and SER.  See 
http://www.columbia.edu/acis/networks/advanced/sip.edu.html for more info.

sip:
 to test call my campus PBX phone.
sip: goes to my SIP UAs (unless they are turned off in 
which case it goes to my campus PBX phone).
