Dear Mike,

RNP, the Brazilian Research Network, is on the verge of deploying a VOIP
Pilot among fourteen Brazilian institutions. We plan to have VOIP in
production starting 2004.

We have not yet deployed QoS over our backbone and international links,
but it will come soon.
Therefore, voice quality may suffer.

It would be very helpful if we could do some short VOIP tests to
guarantee that our DGK and  associated GKs are working properly with
other countries. Our DGK is already configured on Internet2 DGK, so all
we need is to establish some calls.

We would like to know if there is a list of numbers that could be
called.We are monitoring the call establishments over our GK and DGK, so
it would be just enough to have a couple of conversations established.

My lab (www.voip.nce.ufrj.br) is coordinating the Brazilian VOIP pilot
and the number to call is 552125983354 (lab). I would also be very glad
to receive direct calls.

We are on time zone (GMT-3:00).
