Workshop Information A three-day Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) workshop, co-sponsored by
The Academy for Advanced Telecommunications and Learning Technologies and Texas
A&M University's Telecommunications Office and hosted by the Internet2 VoIP
Working Group, will be held at Texas A&M University on April 3, 4 and 5,
2002. To accommodate the hands-on format of the workshop, attendance is
limited to 50 participants, two representatives per university, with preference
given to I2 members.
Designed to further participants' understanding of implementing VoIP
solutions, this workshop will bring together industry and university
representatives to evaluate and discuss the most current developments in the
telecommunications field.
Registration is online at http://academy.tamu.edu/voip.
The registration fee for the event is $125 and includes transportation to
and from the hotel to the workshop, noon and evening meals, and workshop
materials. The fee may be paid by credit card or check and should be
submitted by March 20, 2002. Credit card payment may be submitted by fax

Securing reservations and payment of expenses are the responsibility of the individual participants. Airlines serving the College Station (CLL) area are Continental Express
from Houston and American Eagle from Dallas-Fort Worth.
Driving time from Houston is approximately 1.5 hours; driving time from
Dallas-Fort Worth is approximately 3.5 hours.
