Dear Internet2 VoIP Working VoIP Group,

 

We are pleased to announce that the Internet2 VoIP system is operational.  If you wish to add your institution to this voice network, please send e-mail to and include your DNS, and block(s) of directory number(s) that you want included. Also, please send the IP number of your PBX(s) and the directory number of one or more phone(s) that we can use on an on-going basis for troubleshooting.

 

We are using an E.164 number plan (e.g. 1-NPA-NNX-XXXX).  The appended current GK configuration illustrates the information we need to configure your location.  When we receive your request, we will send you the information you needed for local IP PBX configuration, schedule the GK update, and arrange for Brian Lenahan (TAMU) to work with you to test your new capability.
