Peering with Brazil

Dear Fellows,

 

In Brazil, we are ready to start trial GK peering for VOIP communication.

As a matter of fact, I have already contacted some of you who sent GK peering information to the list.

But others may be ready too.

 

We have our GK behind a firewall, so each peer GK will have to be registered before becoming operational.

As soon as we get your peering information, Cesar Marcondes, our research student, will conduct the necessary configuration, registration and testing.

 

Our GK IP: 146.164.247.202

Prefixes:

    55212598xxxx

    55212562xxxx, both internal to UFRJ.

     

List of convenient numbers will be announced thru our project homepage at a proper time, but 552125983354 is VOIP lab extension (where GK and GW are both located) and the desirable number to call for VOIP testing purposes. 

 

We hope to extend communication testing to all VOIP Internet2 networks.
