Gentlepeople,
Hello, my name is Jeff Taylor from the University of Oklahoma. I actually work for the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, but my lab is located at the Schusterman Center in Tulsa.
I've been involved in VoIP for almost two years. During that time, we have been a beta site for the Nortel ITG line. We started with the trunk cards & managed to get their line cards last spring. I'm on the NOC Team for Networld+Interop & have been in involved in the Internet Telephony Focus Area of iLabs. As part of iLabs, we had a demonstration last Fall of trunking between an Meridian Option 11 in Atlanta & an Meridian Option 81 in Norman, OK.
My goal in this WG is to help develop evaluation & testing criteria to assist I2 participants in selecting VoIP solutions.
