VOIP Working group members,

   I am attaching the initial note that I sent out last week about the web 
page.  At this time only 8 universities have responded.  If you have not yet 
done so please take a few minutes to complete the form.  

  Again copies of the information will be provided to the participants in 
next Fridays meeting.  It may be useful in terms of getting some of the 
agenda items resolved.   A few of the members have indicated that they will 
not be able to make the meeting next week.  This page and any other 
correspondence that you provide before the end of the day today will ensure 
that their institutions are represented even if they can't be there in 
person.  

  Tenative agenda items for the meeting are:

      * Working group leadership
      * Mission and Vision statements
      * VOIP testbed
      * Vendor liasion (brought up at last meeting)
      * Other items as required

VOIP WG members,

We have put up a web based survey to gather some background VOIP info for
the upcoming I2 meeting. The URL is: http://dl.tamu.edu/suresh/register.html

Please take a few minutes to fill this out. The information will be provided
to the participants at the VOIP WG session next Friday. The page works better
with Internet Explorer. Netscape is giving us some problems but we are
working on them. This is a quick effort to gather some data on short notice.
