1) For those exploring BuddyCloud, what do you think? Are you deploying/Where do you stand? Thoughts on what should we do next? (deploy on our XMPP server, etc?)

Follow up: Does your institution use/support/encourage "enterprise" social networking? (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, other open or proprietary solution)

At U-M, we've been using Yammer, and we're also in the process of "Going Google", which included Google+.

2) Additional thoughts on the spring meeting?

FYI, we're tentatively scheduled for Tuesday 4/24/12, 6:00pm-7:00pm.

"The PIC working group explores and implements emerging technologies in real-time communications.  New members and curious guests are all invited.

Current topics include (but are not limited to):

Open social networking systems

New applications of XMPP (including Google+)

The intersection of mobility, presence, and integrated communications (and associated protocols)

The workgroup will also plan and develop new projects for the year. We welcome new participants as new projects launch."
