I've done quite a bit of user cleanup, and will be disabling the in-band 
registration mechanisms. Spammers have been registering more accounts (as we 
expected they ultimately would).

If anyone's accounts have accidentally been purged, my apologies - let me 
know and I'll re-enable registration long enough for you to recreate your 
accounts.
