Some of you may already have test driven me.dium, a social browser plug-in with IM, chat, and forums functions built in.  You can create groups of friends, assign different levels of privacy, and share sites with others in real-time.  It was in open beta until a few months ago.  Here is a link to create a profile and download the client http://me.dium.com/from/942e88a6/ .  I have shared the invitation before but thought it might be of interest to all on the list.
