To build, do something like:

cvs

I'll build a version on pals that people can try if they have an
account and an X Server.  I presume that there will be pre-built RPMs
with Thomas' stuff soon, if not already.

I tried to get this done this morning, but it requires the attention
of a sys admin and they are all in pre-meeting crunch mode.  Alas, the
upgrade to RHEL 4 will not take place until after the Philly member
meeting (week of September 26th at the earliest).

That said, we could try to install the PIC-SER package before the
upgrade to REHL, but I'm not sure it would be worth the trouble.

In preparation for the upgrade, please check I am backing up your
stuff.  Everything under / and /home/ is backed up, with the following
exclusions:
