Yes, the state of linux SIP ua's is pretty pitiful.

Jeremy had the same problem with sipc linux on his laptop. I have not been able to get sipc linux on my laptop even to register.

I've been working on linphone to add presence support to it, but that version is pretty unstable. I did connect to sip: a couple of times, but mostly linphone is crashing on my laptop. There is source code available at http://pals.internet2.edu/downloads/ if you want to try it.

Anyone have time to do some UA work? Linphone is OK if we can make it stable.
