Worked like a charm!  I think the following two small changes to the
web and email text would help make the process just a bit clearer:

At... 

https://services.internet2.edu/payment/crPayment.jsp?first_name=&last_name=&email=

...change: "Please note that you can only pick up the headset at the
experiment site" to: "Please note that you can only pick up your
headset at the Winter 2004 Joint Techs Workshop in Hawaii".

And on the "Purchase Receipt" web page and in the receipt email,
change: "To retrieve your headset, find a member of the PIC team. We
are making ourselves conspicuous by sporting "PIC on me!" labels on
our nametags" to: "To retrieve your headset, find a member of the PIC
team at the Winter 2004 Joint Techs Workshop in Hawaii. We are making
ourselves conspicuous by sporting "PIC on me!" labels on our
nametags".
