Notes from pic conference call Thursday 11/20/03

Introduction

 - Mike Jones gave a an overview of Radvision and their interest in
   presence and integrated communications.

Open issue status

 - Brief discussion of EastWest center maps.
 - Portal, room mic and call quality predictor application issues were
   tabled for future discussion.
 - Alan noted that Apple APs will be used for JT.  Jamey queried their
   snmp capability.  Alan will find out.

Phone offer

 - Alan reports that Cisco System's has offered to lend us some phones
   for the JT demo.  Some interest was expressed in their wifi phone.
   It's not clear how they would fit into the demo.

Architecture diagram

 - Jamey gave detailed explanations of both location information
   flow and call flow.  There was discussion and several questions.
   Jamey will create a second, updated version.  It was agreed that we
   will take this to Columbia.

Columbia architecture meeting
 - Dec 2nd, 9:30 - 3:00pm
 - Columbia University, Mudd Building
 - Morning in 453 Mudd; Afternoon in 473 Mudd 
 - Xiaotao reports that Henning plans on joining us for the 9:30 - noon
   session.
 - Xiaotao agreed to send out logistical links (directions, parking, etc.)

Next conference call

 - Next Thursday's call (11/27) is cancelled because it's Thanksgiving.
   The next conference call will be Thurday 12/4 at 4pm EST.
