Wanted to share the new Multicast Menu with the I2 community, which is designed to be a portal listing all multicast video sources on I2. This content can be viewed by ALL Internet users, including those on unicast-only networks:

https://multicastmenu.herokuapp.com

The way it works is by looking periodically the routers listed in the I2 Router Proxy for multicast routes with > 100 pps, with the assumption that these are video streams. By clicking on the stream, it launches VLC (you need to download a version with AMT-GW) to view the video.

New streams can be added manually on the Menu. The content is a bit sparse at the moment, so we could really use some more interesting multicast video streams.

The Multicast Menu was developed by Lauren Delwiche, a student from Thomas Jefferson HS in Alexandria, VA, building off earlier multicast curation development done by William Zhang.

Feedback and suggestions for enhancements to the Multicast Menu are welcome. Also, if you would like to join this project (add an AMT relay, add content, help with other apps, learn more about what we are doing, etc), send me a unicast and we'll add you to our Slack group.
