Katsuhiro,

I am able to receive both of these in Madison, Wisconsin using IPv4. The quality is excellent. I am using VLC version 1.0.0. It is necessary to specify RTP protocol.

Folks,
Total solar eclipse will come to IWOJIMA tommorow(22th July).
It will start around 10:00 (JST). (1st eclipse will start 10:01)
We will broadcast the video with IP Multicast.
For detail, please access http://www.sfc.wide.ad.jp/~qoo/eclipse09/
If anyone has time to try to join(MPEG2-TS HD1080i transmitted by DVTS),
please let me know (1) if you can receive video, and if yes (2) how is the quality.
Unfortunately, now we are sending test patern, it's not so attractive.
I'll anounse when the video comes from IWOJIMA.
If possible please attach your ip adderss(both of ipv4, ipv6) and the result of traceroute to 203.178.150.36/2001:200:0:6013::36.
If you can't play video eventhough traffic is coming,
please try to join directly from VLC.
233.9.196.41 port 1234 // the Sun
233.9.196.42 port 1234 // landscape
ff7e:140:2001:200:0:6013::41 port 1234 // the Sun
ff7e:140:2001:200:0:6013::42 port 1234 // landscape
We also prepare ssmpingd to check the connectivity, the address are 203.178.150.36/2001:200:0:6013::36.
If you can't receive any traffic, please check to use ssmping.
IPv4: ssmping -4 233.9.196.1 203.178.150.36
IPv6: ssmping -6 ff7e:140:2001:200:0:6013::1 2001:200:0:6013::36
