Hi,
The patch provided here doesn't apply cleanly against version 0.3.4, which is the latest available at:
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/miniSAPserver/
I modified it slightly so it does (attached).
As far as I can tell, this patch addresses the incorrect interpretation of multiple port directives in the configuration parser so that the last directive in a [program] section overrides any directives seen previously. However it doesn't change the fact that miniSAPserver can not handle programs with multiple media streams, as clearly noted in many places.
It certainly doesn't address the announcement interval issue (more on this later).

You're taking minisap way beyond its intended use.
No doubt, but the issue to me is that the software, if misused, does
bad things. Can this be prevented ?
Sure. I think I found the problem, but it has nothing to do with port numbers.
