More specifically I'm told that ours is a Snap Server 18000:

I don't know if all the Snap boxen do this, but it's the default
behavior for this one.

Probably it will get an ACL on the local segment before we solve the
larger problem of the Right Way to fix our MSDP ACLs.  Though it does
seem to have some utility as a rough higher-ed-centric beacon ;).
