There is a now a version of the Internet2 Detective that can be run from your Web Browser! You can find this detective at:  http://detective.internet2.edu/applet/ 

This Detective does not require you to download any software, so you can run it on machines where you are not allowed to install software.  It does require that your web browser support Java.  It should run on Windows XP, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms.  It may run on other *nix platforms as well.  Please notify of any problems, suggestions, or congratulations.  This work is the result of a project shared among a network of student interns, called "netterns".  You'll find this project described below.

The applet version of the Internet2 Detective is the result of a number of individual combined efforts at Internet2 and its member institutions. Development began during a semester long directed study (referred to as the "neternship") and was continued by Andrew Lake during his summer internship at Internet2. Many thanks to the following contributors for their dedication and assistance in the development of this project:
