On Abilene, we see a couple of MSDP SA's, one from an Arizona host and one from a Nysernet host...
mpd@DNVRng-re0>
show msdp source-active group 233.26.42.10
Group address Source address Peer address Originator Flags
233.26.42.10 150.135.75.71 192.80.43.21 192.80.43.21 Accept
233.26.42.10 199.109.32.35 198.32.8.199 199.109.32.254 Accept
We have an NLRI=multicast route to the Arizona RP (192.80.43.21), but do not have one for the source IP (150.135.75.71)...
mpd@DNVRng-re0>
show route table inet.2 192.80.43.21
inet.2: 4880 destinations, 9732 routes (4880 active, 0 holddown, 0 hidden)
+ = Active Route, - = Last Active, * = Both
192.80.43.20/30 *[Direct/0] 2d 20:09:55
> via so-1/1/1.0
mpd@DNVRng-re0>
show route table inet.2 150.135.75.71
mpd@DNVRng-re0>
As Bill Owens pointed out, the Juniper's will only RPF check against the inet.2 (ie multicast) RIB and not the inet.0 unicast RIB. Originating a MBGP route for 150.135/16 should fix this.

We are trying to get multicast working "correctly" on and off campus.
Can you see our test for our UA Internet2 Day Event at 233.26.42.10 port

Thanks,
