Yes, and Yes. We would be happy to source SSM and ASM
sources for the multicast workshop if we know that we will
have at least one SSM joiner. Would that be you John ;) ?

Cisco has a nice SSM implementation in IP/TV at this point.
IGMPv3lite is available for pre-windows-XP versions that
don't support IGMPv3.

Also, note that MIM 1.2 supports SSM for those unixes that
have IGMPv3 support (read, FreeBSD). Linux and Solaris are
still lagging, altho I have heard several people mention in
private that they are working on IGMPv3 for these platforms.

If you do, will you be including enough info in the SDP
announcement that apps and hosts capable of SSM can use it?
(Has Cisco gotten the bugs out of their IP/TV SSM version?)
