The First Global Grid Forum (GGF1) is being held in Amsterdam March 5-7.
The agenda can be found at:

The plenary sessions of GGF1 will be streamed in IP multicast.
Multicast Information:
GGF1 will be generating three types of multicast streams. The video codecs
used to encode the video are Real, H.261, MPEG-1.
Users can obtain the software players needed to view the streams via:
http://www.surfnet-tv.nl/download.html

Real Broadcast.
The Real stream is generated by a RealProducer encoder and distributed using
the Real server of SURFnet.
The URL to start the stream is given on:

H.261 Broadcast.
The H.261 stream is generated by an FVC.com I-studio and will be visible to
users with the standard multicast tools from the UCL Mbone Conferencing
applications archive, and most other free and commercial tools that can can
handle H.261/PCM, including the free downloadable FVC I-TV viewer and Cisco
IP/TV viewer.

MPEG-1 Broadcast.
The MPEG-1 stream will be generated using IBM Videocharger and will only be
viewable with an Videocharger Player.
