Hello there,

I would like to ask how an MSDP storm can be avoided. Apart from
upgrading to the correct Cisco IOS
12.0(15)S03 & 12.0(16)S and using the command ip msdp sa-lmit, is there
any other way?

Have you tried Committed Access Rate (CAR)?

Please reply if you know anything about using a CAR for eliminating MSDP
storms.
