Does anyone have a cookbook example of IGMP/CGMP configurations that
might solve my problem which is an apparent prune happening when the 3 minute
timer expires? My network consists of a bunch of Catalyst 6509's with
MSFC's running 12.0(7)XE. These are connected into a pair of L2 "core"
6509's that interconnect all the edge routers on two VLANs (501 and 502).
Hung off the 6509's are a variety of Catalyst 5500, 4006,
etc. switches that are running CGMP. I think I just need to diddle
something on the 6509 IGMP/CGMP snooping options.... This used to work until
I touched something :-(
Starting up from the bottom I have:
Catalyst switch in VLAN 39 has
set cgmp enable
set cgmp leave enable
6509 w/MSFC with several Catalysts in VLAN 39 has:
