Nice catch. The "--" is a function of the whois client to separate client
side and service side arguments. It is described in the man page for WHOIS(1).

need to add after the main command when adding any of the variables when
using the help command.

whois -h rr.arin.net -- -B xxx.xxx.xxx.0/24

work?
