Chris Morrow says he hopes to have an update on Google IRR progress posted on the NANOG mailing list in the next couple of days.  He will also be attending NANOG75 (2/18-20), so I'll likely run into him there.

There wasn't any Google information posted on the MANRS mailing list beyond the fact that Chris Morrow is working on some IRR parsing scripts and MANRS was encouraging that tools like this be shared.  MANRS was suggesting their github account as a place to archive tools, but others suggested that it would be better for MANRS to just include links to tools on their resources web page:

https://github.com/manrs-tools
https://www.manrs.org/resources/

So far, not much as been posted.

No new I2-Google communications since last month when Chris Morrow confirmed that they were still proceeding ahead.

There have been a few messages on the MANRS-members list in the last 3 days about Chris Morrow posting the tools he is developing on github.

Replying to myself to note that it's been another three weeks since my previous check, and Google still hasn't put anything about IRR on their peering portal.

I just looked at the Google peering portal and don't see anything about IRR, or any complaints about my lack of a coherent IRR configuration. Apparently the January 1 deadline, wasn't. I'm
glad, since doing actual work on the network has been keeping us plenty busy without adding make-work, but I do wonder that we haven't heard anything more from Google about this.

Anyone else heard anything? Have there been any further communications between I2 and Google?

Bill.
