Some Amazon EC2 information for those interested -- the Phoebus GW at 
NEWY (nms-rpho.newy.net.internet2.edu) has just this week been setup 
with static routes to a number of EC2 public IP ranges.  I have gone so 
far as to verify that connectivity between from the GW to EC2 instances 
in those ranges is working, but I have not had time to do any real 
performance testing.  These ranges now work:

+    72.44.32.0/19;
+    75.101.128.0/17;
+    174.129.0.0/16;
+    184.72.0.0/18;
+    184.72.128.0/17;
+    184.73.0.0/16;
+    204.236.128.0/18;
+    216.182.224.0/20

If testing goes well, we can expect the remaining GWs to be tied in
