Hi all,
My name is Radek Krzywania and I work in Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center in Poland. I am the task leader for the TF-NGN activity, which is focused on transport protocols. One of the objectives is to test and compare existing transport protocols regarding high-performance networks, and after that to improve them or even develop any new. According to your group mailing list archive, and information from involved people, you have a similar objective. I have read the draft you have published on the mailing list, and it looks quite interesting. It touches many transport protocol issues, involving different approaches to window/rate control, and also migration form kernel-space to user-space environment. I guess that the cooperation between TF-NGN and Internet2 tasks may be beneficial for both sides. I hope it will be possible to join our efforts.
Regards
Radek
