Taming the data tiger: Generative AI as a tool to aid Higher Education Attendees

Dear Workshop Attendee –

 

We are looking forward to seeing you in next week’s workshop, “Taming the Data Tiger: Generative AI as a Tool to Aid Higher Education”(March 7).  Boxed lunches will be provided for workshop participants by our sponsor TD Synnex Public Sector. Please pick up your lunch in the workshop room (Michigan A/B – 2^nd floor) at 12pm.  The workshop will start at 1pm.

 

We will be exploring the capabilities of AWS’ Generative AI services. In order to get the most out of your experience, we ask that you mull on the following questions in advance of the workshop:

 

What is a specific stakeholder journey made challenging due to the volume of public-facing web-based instructions required to complete the task?

 

What student, staff or faculty journey is made challenging due to the volume of information required to complete various tasks?

 

Some examples of stakeholder journeys our customers have told us can be challenging:  1/ Students who wish to change majors across schools or colleges, 2/ Principal Investigators who wish to submit grant applications or track awards, 3/ Faculty or staff who want to understand a complex HR process, 4/ Navigating internal documentation, tickets, guides (IT support, service desk, etc.).
