IIT Real-Time Communications Conference!  Register now!

 

Registration is now open for the Illinois Institute of Technology Real-Time Communications Conference & Expo, October 6 - 8, 2015 on IIT's Main Campus in Chicago, IL.  Attendees who register by September 1 can take advantage of attractive early bird full conference registration price of $300. Register now!

 

The Conference is internationally recognized as the real-time communications industry's most objective venue for unbiased educational content presented by leading industry visionaries from around the globe. Now in its eleventh year, this Fall's Conference is adding exciting new events, and promises to be the biggest and best to date!

 

Highlights of the 2015 Conference TADHack

TADHack-mini IIT RTC takes place Oct. 3-4 at the Idea Shop on IIT's Main Campus. It is a continuation of the Global Telecom Applications Developers Hackathon for which the IIT RTC Lab has been the Chicago Remote Site each the last two Junes.  

 

 

TADHack is the only global meeting place for developers who want to learn, share, code, and create using the latest tools and technologies available in telecommunications. TADHack Founder Alan Quayle will be on hand to help run this local version of TADHack the weekend before the IIT RTC Conference with a focus on WebRTC, Internet of Things(IoT), and next generation emergency services (NG911 ). Besides competing for $5K in prizes, TADHack winners will share their demo pitches during a keynote presentation at the IIT RTC Conference. Participation in TADHack is free of charge, but requires a separateRegistration in addition to registering for the Main Conference.   

 

 

Pre-conference Tutorials

Monday, Oct. 5 we offer two half-day tutorials, WebRTC and Federated Identity. A full-conference registration entitles you to take one or both of these without extra charge.

 

  • WebRTC will be taught by Alan Johnston, Distinguished Engineer, Avaya and Adjunct Professor, IIT and Dan Burnett, Principal, Burnett Consulting Services and will run from 9 AM to 12 PM
  • Federated Identity will be taught by Robin Raymond, CTO; Hookflash and Matthew Hodgson, Technical Co-founder; Matrix.org and will run from 1 PM to 4 PM

 

For those who wish to participate in the Tutorials, but are unable to attend the Main Conference, the tutorials may be purchased separately for a fee of $75. Check back soon for a complete description of the content of these tutorials

 

IPTComm Paper Submission Date - July 13, 2015

The date for submitting papers to the IPTComm Conference, which is a co-located event featuring juried papers to be published in the ACM Digital Library has been extended to July 13, 2015.

 

IPTComm is an academic conference in cooperation with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM.) Research papers accepted by IPTComm will be presented in a track of the RTC conference and will be published in the ACM Digital Library.   The inclusion of the IPTComm conference offers our registrants, speakers, and sponsors the opportunity to attend two conferences in one, and builds on our unparalleled reputation for connecting industry thought leaders with academic researchers.
