In an effort to bring the Internet2 and Voice On the Net (VON)
communities closer together, Internet2 corporate sponsor Pulver.com is
offering ten full "scholarships" to attend the Fall VON 2005
Conference and Expo (http://www.von.com/).  Fall VON 2005 will take
place September 19-22 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center
in Boston, MA. (Note: VON and the Internet2 Member Meeting are
concurrent this Fall.)

All Internet2 university members are invited to apply by submitting a
short statement of interest and a short biographical sketch to

  Neither should exceed 150 words.  The
statement of interest should explain why advanced IP communications
are important to the applicant or his/her institution and the
biographical sketch should be appropriate for a web-based "spotlight"
(e.g. http://www.internet2.edu/pastspotlights.cfm).  All applications
must be received by August 15, 2005.

Each scholarship award includes the "Full Conference" VON package;
recipients must meet other expenses (e.g. hotel, travel,dinners) via
other means.
