Hello Shib workshop attendees,

Here is an update on the InCommon Shibboleth Installation Workshop at Rochester Institute of Technology, June 23-24, 2016.

You’ll find information about the training location, hotels, and parking on the wiki: https://spaces.internet2.edu/x/NYC0BQ

If you will be using parking at RIT, please print and bring the permit that was attached to my last email.

Also, there was a bad link in my last note – toward the bottom where I talked about the curriculum. Here are the direct links:

Preparation for those using Windows: https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ShibInstallFest/Windows+Preparation+for+Participants

Preparation for those using Linux: https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ShibInstallFest/Linux+Preparation+for+Participants

Please note that we’d like you to read and understand the information in the “preparation” links.

The curriculum links below are purely FYI – the trainers will lead you through this curriculum at the site.

Curriculum for Windows IdPv3: https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ShibInstallFest/Windows+Identity+Provider+IdPv3

Curriculum for Windows SP: https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ShibInstallFest/Windows+Service+Provider

Curriculum for Linux IdPv3: https://spaces.internet2.edu/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=49841792

Curriculum for Linux SP: https://spaces.internet2.edu/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=30245422

Please note that we provide beverages first thing in the morning, but no breakfast. We will provide lunch and there are also beverage and snack breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

If you have not completed our pre-installfest survey, please do so – it will help the trainers address topics of interest to you.

Safe travels!

Dean
