It builds on Linux, so if there's a bug left, can you please send me a
patch? Unless the problem is with some other library, then please send them
a patch.

Ok...so...this isn't a Shibboleth issue? It sounds like Xerces has to be
fixed, and I don't have commit access to it, and I really wasn't planning to
produce my own build.

One option would be to include a patch in a Macport to get applied when the
port installs. Assuming we even can fix it, I don't know what functionality
it requires from that library. If it needs that code, then I'd say this is
impossible to fix easily, isn't it?

Isn't this by definition either a 10.5 problem or not? Maybe that checking
code is only in 10.5 server?
